Wonderful World

Back in the early 1960’s, Sam Cooke was one of the most popular singers in popular music. His legendary song, Wonderful World, was a big hit then, and it still is nowadays. This simple guitar lesson will demonstrate how to play Wonderful World in the key of G. The chords necessary are G, Em, C, and D, a standard 1-6-4-5 progression. What makes this great song even better, is the way the chords are arranged to take advantage of a really neat sounding bass line. We show you how to utilize this bass line by placing the chords in certain positions on the guitar neck, and by inserting additional chords where needed.
