On The Road Again

On The Road Again, made famous by Willie Nelson, and many others, is easy to learn. We will demonstrate how to play On The Road Again in the key of C. The chord structure uses C, E7, Dm7, F, and G, in an easy to learn pattern. The chorus is even simpler: we use only F, C, and G. The right hand does the bass notes as you strum the chords. This lesson will show you how to incorporate the bass line within each chord so that the overall sound will be full and melodic. Any country western song, especially an up tempo tune like On The Road Again, contains a certain “sound” that this lesson will show you how to play.
