Tumbling Tumbleweeds

Back in 1934 the Sons of the Pioneers launched many great western songs, among them was Tumbling Tumbleweeds. The song has since become a classic and it is known worldwide. In this simple guitar lesson we will show you how to play Tumbling Tumbleweeds. You will be able to play this song within an hour, or so, once you learn the easy chord structures. We demonstrate the song in the key of “A”. The chords you will need are: D, D7, C#, C#7, A, E7, F#m, and G#7. Tumbling Tumbleweeds has a wonderful melody and the chord structure, while not the standard “three chord charlie”, is simple to play and very easy to learn. We show you some of the “tricks” to make playing this song easier than you might think.
